Hi Mike. I have a 97 Outback Sport, what section of your website should I ask question about in? It only has 88k on it, and no major problems as of yet. I have questions about what types of fluids and such. Thanks

Thanks for all the good knowledge. I just bought a 2003 Outback that has had HG’s done, but although I haven’t seen a problem yet, previous owner bailed because it continually overheated. What is the best coolant to use with these motors? thank you

      Hi Greg,
We suggest using the genuine Subaru coolant. It is specifically a non-amine coolant that is required for their type of head gaskets in the aluminum engine. I’m sure there are others that may work but without a background in chemical engineering I couldn’t advise you which others meet the criteria.

      Good luck,
