COBB Tuning Stainless Steel Heat Shield

Cobb Heat Shield Designed in-house to replace the factory turbo heat shield, our Stainless Steel replacement is ideal particularly when installing aftermarket downpipes. Because the factory turbo heat shield does not fit when installing most bellmouth or divorced downpipe designs without trimming, the Stainless Steel Heat Shield has been specifically designed to retain the function of the factory heat shield while still fitting over all aftermarket downpipe designs.

Running without a turbo heat shield can increase underhood temperatures and unnecessarily heat your intercooler. We highly recommend you either trim your factory shield (free) or purchase our replacement shield rather than running with no heat shield at all.

Our downpipe is built as one complete unit and is comprised of 4 major design elements; a Cast 304 SS Turbo Outlet Housing, 3" 304 SS Mandrel Bent Piping, an optional SS Metallic Substrate Catalytic Converter, and a laser-cut 304 SS OEM style flange with integrated flex.
